This is Yoshi, Carmen and Taiga's new place, just a few blocks from us on Main Street. It has an amazing Western exposure, which Wendy noticed right away. Yoshi, Carmen and Taiga graciously agreed to let me set a camera in their space for a few days, and this is the second exposure, 38 hours. The setting sun streak is reflected in the pictures on the wall to the right - a happy accident. Taiga's high chair moves around, and so does the mysterious drink pitcher on the table. The curtains to the next room are also blurry from use. A vase of flowers must have appeared at the end of the cabinet sometime during the day, as it is a ghost. The conga drums are also ghosts. I was really trying to get ghostly impressions of the sleeping area at the end of the room, a traditional Japanese 4 1/2 Tatami mat layout. As expected, no people can be seen, even though they all continued their lives in this space for the whole time the camera was there.
Thanks again to Yoshi for the able camera operations - there would not be nearly the details captured without him.
