This picture shows the path of the sun across the sky, photographed from our south-facing spare bedroom window on 25 January 2009, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
One of my first successful very long exposure pictures using my experimental homebrew chemistry, this 4x5 sheet of HP5 film was exposed for 6 hours at f/4.5 (wide open) with a 90mm lens, no filters in a Fotoman 45PS camera. The resulting negative is normal in contrast, and prints very easily on silver gelatin.
