The most common traffic advisory in Vancouver: "No Parking". If you visit, whatever you do, don't bring a car. We all hate cars and will do everything we can to get you out of yours. On the other hand, we love bikes. We'll do just about anything to get you onto a bike (other than provide you with one). We'll close entire lanes on bridges for bikes, let bikes onto trains and buses and ferries, and have countless bikeways painted on streets. Never mind that it rains all the time. You'll get used to it.
