We created the author’s photograph and all the other photographic materials used in this dust jacket collage, except for the childhood image of Michael David Kwan. The images of the stab book binding, Chinese chop, and handwritten pages were taken from the journals of Michael David’s father. Michael David is Russel’s father.

“Things That Must Not Be Forgotten” was published by Macfarlane, Walter and Ross in Toronto, Soho Press in New York and Mainstream Publishing in London.

We photographed the author, Jacques Barbeau at his summer home in Point Roberts, Washington state. Jacques kindly contributed the foreword to our book, “Chasing Light Stranger”.
