Sticking out of the jungle near the town of Siem Reap in Cambodia is the largest religious complex in the world, Angkor. This is Bayon, one of the almost countless temples in the Angkor region. We stayed in this temple until darkness fell - this photograph was made in the gathering dusk, after all the tourists had left and the steam had started rising from the jungle and the monks in the next temple over had started their evening prayers. When we finally emerged in the dark, we were never so glad to find our loyal driver, still by his car in the now abandoned parking lot.
