Ta Prohm temple is also known as the "Jungle Temple" because it has largely been reclaimed by the jungle that surrounds it. Huge trees now stand over its walls, their root systems draping the stonework to reach the ground. I think these roots, rendered almost metallic by the light, are sinuous, even muscular, as they support the mighty trees above.
