The site of Angkor Wat Cambodia is massive - city sized. Fortunately in October 2004 we had 5 full days to explore and poke into many corners of this fascinating place. Our driver Soh Teh, was incredibly patient as he delivered us to many locations, often waiting as we disappeared for extended periods of time. I don’t think he ever quite understood why we were taking so long – completely out of the norm from most his clientele! But it is the way we find these special places. In this case a secluded back corner of a ruined temple – still used as an active site of worship by local folks who keep the candle and incense burning.
