At the centre of town in Bannack State Historic Park Montana, stands Hotel Meade. Defiant to the effects of icy winters and blazing summers, her walls certainly contain secrets of a wildwest American community immersed in gold and silver mining history. Still surrounded by wooden boardwalks and remnant wagon wheels, and now protected in a state of arrested decay, Hotel Meade serves today to fire our imagination of the adventuresome and difficult lives of western pioneers.
