Day 23 - Crossing the Mojave, Kingman to Barstow

Your accomodation choices along the Colorado River. That would be the Arizona side in the forground vs the Nevada side in the distance.

This mini-Vegas was an unexpected and cheesy shock.

Never knew there were paddlewheelers on the Colorado.

Wendy wouldn't let me ask what the heck a "Cat Pain's Buffet" is. Or whether someone with a crane is in trouble or not.

Yeah come on, bathe those dogs before you bring them to the park.

What's really interesting is the same server labelled both cups.

Wendy hits the gas hard, just as I notice the really cheap motel.

Hats off to a great restoration of a fine old railway station. She deserves it - surviving 90 years in the heart of the Mojave.

Down the road, this place isn't faring quite so well.

Weathered to the bones.
