Day 25 - Escaping the heat - on California One

It's 36C in Paso Robles, and we've had enough of the heat. So... a quick run out to the coast is in order - from past experience, when the inland valleys are very hot, the coast is in cool, even cold fog. That's the fog, creeping over the last ridge of hills before the Pacific.

Crap!! Canya just put up a sign that says "This Way to the Beach"??

Finally! The Pacific Ocean, after almost 4 weeks in the desert.

Some funky work attracts patrons to this litttle back street gallery.

Why did we have to take such a circuitous route to get here?

It's been a long time since we passed through Morro Bay, at least the pelicans are still here!
