Day 29 - Lunch at Goat Rock, the Sonoma Heads and Bodega Bay

Today's lunch spot high above Goat Rock.

Did someone mention we are in California?

The double track to the end of the universe. Only authorized vehicles are allowed to go to the end of the universe. The rest of us must walk.

An unexpected patch of green. California mostly comes in beige.

Wendy out past the remnants of the dire cliff warning sign.

Beyond the cliff it's all downhill, though the striking little red succulents seem right at home with life on the edge.

Sand beaches are few and far between on this section of the Sonoma Coast. Every scrap of picnic worthy space has been claimed in this little cove.

These California pinks provide refreshing relief in their brown surrounds.

The cinnamon bun at the end of the road.

View from Cinnamon Bun Point.

The fleet heads into port - a storm is coming.

The usual sunset crowd gathers.

Our supervisor, worn out after a long day's supervising.
