The river is just about over the banks in Pacific City. The houses on the left are on a sandbar, and so are likely to wind up in the ocean if the river gets much higher. We've wondered a lot about the people who would want to live in such houses.
Nobody is braving the elements on the beach today.
My favourite subject: Bird On a Stick. For the ornithologists out there, this is a duglus aeforus scihaucus. They are often seen on sticks these days near US Naval Air Stations. No-one knows why.
Guess it's all OK as long as you're not a tresspasser.
