It's finally spring in Vancouver, and I hoped to catch the leaves sprouting on our Japanese maple tree over a week. In summer, the tree will be so thick that I don't think the sun will even penetrate the canopy, but we'll wait 'till June to find out. I've also been working on rebalancing my special chemistry to have the sun tracks read more like daytime than nighttime. I also have learned to take advantage of the curved film plane in the Drãnoflex to make the sun trail look more like a curve than a straight line. Here's the first picture that has all of those features. This is a 7 day exposure in Drãnoflex.
