A spectacular trail begins from the car park at the Ecola Beach State Park and winds its way up through coastal forest with glimpses out to the Pacific Ocean. Past the walk-in camp there is a cliff top look out revealing a view towards pure sky and ocean blue. With the added feature of fog or cloud it is indeed hard to tell where the horizon actually sits.
