This is the artist's proof I worked up for this picture between fall 2007 and summer 2008. It is heavily manipulated, and unusually printed on Oriental Seagull semi-gloss fiber-based paper to get the overall contrast range I wanted.

I was still unhappy with the overall tonality of this print - it seemed overly glarey to me, particularly the highlights - and so I abandoned the image until I could figure out a better way to print it.
